Stories that Shaped a Nation
The Weitzman Museum in Philadelphia, PA, came to gamepossible looking for help creating and bringing their brand new, Jewish American History curriculum online. Gamepossible was responsible for UX, development, copywriting, curriculum guidance, project management, and database creation. Additionally, the Weitzman wanted a solid SEO foundation for their curriculum website so it could be working to stand out in the jungle of the internet.
Our Process
Gamepossible started with a comprehensive comparative analysis of current and popular curriculum websites and focused on a simple, clear user experience, building for the lessons available at launch, future lessons, professional development and events, as well as donors and partners.
Our SEO expert worked closely with the Weitzman team to create a strategy focused on business and educational goals, and our copywriting team was brought in to write all supporting copy. GA4 was set up with key events and conversions to track analytics.
Gamepossible worked closely with design partner, Masters Group Design, to turn their bright designs into a modular Wordpress site, building reusable modules and page templates, giving freedom to the Weitzman team to take over the site maintenance after launch. Additionally, gamepossible built a database of state standards so educators can immediately see which lessons cover which state requirements, across the United States.
The final result is a clear, engaging curriculum website, made for teachers, by teachers.
The site showcases the rich history of Jewish Americans and the extensive work of the curriculum designers, with built-in capacity to add events, new lessons, partners, and displays state/national standards on top of a hard-working SEO strategy.
